Please read all submission guidelines before entering, thank you.

Each film or video must be accompanied by a completed entry form.pdf or completed entry form.doc (photocopies are acceptable) and an entry fee. Entries must be submitted on 1/2" (standard VHS) videocassette in NTSC format, or DVD-R. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English. VERY IMPORTANT: when your entry is sent in, please mark it as "no commercial l value, for promotional purposes only", as Exofest will not be responsible for paying Duty or GST - any packages that arrive COD will be returned to sender.

Due to the volume of entry review requests, we find ourselves unable to complete all of our "normal" workload, so therefore, we must start charging an entry fee of $20.00 USD for each feature length film and $15.00 for each short entered into the festival. Money orders may be made payable to "Exophagy Dot Com", or payment may be made via credit card to PayPal at a $5.00 discount to your entry fee. Please contact dbond@exophagy.com for more details.

Shorts: 3 minutes minimum to 44 minutes maximum.

Features: 45 minutes minimum and above.

Cost of shipping to festival is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. All film reels, cans, videotapes and cases must be labeled with the title of the entry. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please use only plastic or bubble pack cases when shipping entries.

Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If your film is chosen, you will be notified on or before October 13, 2003 via email. If accepted, the print of your film, or presentation video, will need to be in our Detroit offices by October 20, 2003. The festival does not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.

When your film is accepted you will also need to send the following to our Detroit offices:

Your presentation copy of the film.

A copy for press viewing purposes preferrably VHS (NTSC).

Three (3) theatrical posters for the venue.

Exofest does give awards. A festival jury will present awards to films and videos selected as:
